GreenFest Artist Spotlight: 11 Bones

11 Bones is somewhat of a supergroup in Texas/Red Dirt music as they are comprised of musicians noted for their work in other projects. Led by singer/songwriter Dub Miller, they have taken his lyrical gifts and backed them with a bit of a rock twist in the form of guitarists Matt Skinner and Brian Beken, the bass thumping of Adam Odor, percussion from John Ross Silva and additional vocals from Meagan Jones. We reviewed their EP here. 11 Bones will be playing full band on Saturday July 31 at Phoenix Saloon and will be in their “bare bones” acoustic format at the Float House on Sunday August 1.

Here they are in a video showcasing a slightly stripped down format (and Skinner on lead vocals) from our friends at Music Fog.
