At the turn of the 21st century Owen Temple was part of a trio of young singer/songwriters at the top of the Texas Music scene alongside Pat Green and Cory Morrow. Owen’s music was always a tad deeper and a tad more Americana, and he soon grew into the type of songwriter whose songs surpassed the tight boundaries of the music scene at the time. Owen began to focus solely on the craft of writing and found himself developing the greatest tunes of his career. Thankfully for all of us, those tunes have continued. Owen’s career has grown in ways none of us could have foreseen 15 years ago, but we should all be grateful that it has. And, he also wrote some songs for that Gary Floater guy.
