River Jam Artist Preview: Chance Anderson

Red Dirt music has a strong and proud lineage. The legacy passed down through the likes of Randy Crouch, Mike McClure, Cody Canada, Jason Boland, Brandon Jenkins and Evan Felker lands squarely at the feet of artists like Chance Anderson. Anderson is a songwriter that mines the same heartland emotion of his predecessors and backs it with some raw rock n’ roll melodies to give it some punch. Anderson has hit the highway hard over the last decade creating a loyal following of fans that vibe with what he’s throwing down. At the start of his career, he won our Galleywinter songwriter contest to perform at Wade Bowen’s Music Fest; a harbinger of a career that would bloom fruitfully for years. Come hear what makes Anderson a current Red Dirt torchbearer at River Jam Sunday.
