I watch this show everyonce in awhile and last night David St. Romain was wearing a Jason Boland shirt. I thought this was neat.

He's the best singer on there; didn't watch this week's episode...was bummed when Kasey Musgraves got booted last week.

I haven't watched it but I looked at the contestants profiles on the website and 2 of the girls had the RRB listed in their favorite music! Mr. Green

David is from Louisiana, and he and Phil (my boss) are really good friends. The guy is unreal talented, and a super nice guy to boot. When they picked that song for him, we just laughed because we've heard him do it before and knew he was about to whip all their asses hard on that one!

So yeah... if ya'll are throwing some support around, definitely throw it behind David St.Romain. He's the real deal.

I won't hold that against him.

What I WILL hold against him is he's an arrogant little prick and he totally butchered that song.

He also looks a bit like Gary Allen, so he's got that going for him, just saying. He was great. On the female side, Angela Hacker was pretty good.

I like David. I think he has a great voice, and he kind of looks like a cross between Adam Carroll and Luke Olson

I'm glad someone else saw his shirt too. I asked my mom and she said I was seeing things.

Yeah... Wave wouldn't have been my pick for him to sing, but he did okay with it. Thing about these shows is you don't have to be the best every week, you just have to not be the worst.

My guess on the put the guitar down thing was that David has a reputation for being a very dynamic front man who really interacts with his audience. I think they were wanting to see that from him. Just from what we know of David, and the stuff they've been saying to him/songs they've been feeding him, it really looks like they're setting him up for a win as much as they can. They just keep putting the ball right in his breadbasket.

He's pretty good, but I'm not SO impressed with anyone this season, not the way I was with Chris Young or with Miranda Lambert [even though she didn't win].
