Greenfest Artist Spotlight: Josh Weathers

Josh Weathers returns to Greenfest for the second consecutive year on a crest of momentum following a banner career year for the Fort Worth musician.  Weathers refers to his music as “Texas soul music” and it’s definitely that.  Influenced as much by George Strait as by Prince or equal parts Delbert McClinton and Otis Redding, Weathers’ music showcases threads of country, rock, soul, funk and R&B.  Weathers is a showstopping guitar slinger and singer whose signature calling card is a rabble rousing live show that gets the party started no matter what setting he’s in.  Last year Weathers performed in the acoustic portion of Greenfest, but this year he’s bringing the whole band.  They’ll be grooving on the mainstage at River Road Icehouse as the sun sets and the Greenfest party gets in full motion.  If you don’t dance during a Josh Weathers set, you may not have a pulse.

Performance date/time:  Sat July 27 at River Road Icehouse.  Approx 7PM.

Years at Greenfest:  2

  1. It’s simple to get caught up in your own personal writing and allow it pull you along.
Whether you utilize it in the home, in school or at the job Ubuntu contains
all the applications you’ll ever need, from word processing and email applications, to web server software and
programming tools. When Vista Service Pack 1 was inside beta phase, Microsoft included a tiny software utility called ‘recdisc.

  2. s a negative side to the interest in digital content, and that.
By the process, you are reinforcing that negativity and attracting
to yourself MORE. The most enjoyable part of Revenge from the Fallen is its sheer familiarity.
