Bart Crow Welcomes a Son

This evening, Bart Crow and his lovely wife Brooke welcomed a healthy baby boy named Townes Blaine Crow. He weighed 7lbs 13oz. Congrats to the Crow family!

The artist formerly known as Johnny Cougar, a little known singer with little success as performer, sees his composition "I Need a Lover" become a smash for Pat Benatar. This kicks off a rise to his career with "Hurts So Good." It enters the pop charts at #83 and will make it to #2. The song "Jack and Diane" and the album from which the tunes came from, American Fool, both go to number one. One of John Mellencamp's favorite producers Don Gehman goes on to work on Pat Green's "Wave on Wave" album.
